Hour of Temptation

What is the Hour of Temptation?

The hour of temptation is a period of time of great affliction and unrest when the world will be tempted to worship Satan as the true Messiah in Jerusalem to escape their dire straits. The world will listen to a flood of lies and watch in awe the supernatural miracles performed by Satan. The world will think Satan is the true Messiah but in fact he is the spurious messiah leading the world to be deceived.

The term "spurious Messiah" refers to a false Christ or a figure who falsely claims to be the Messiah. It is derived from the Greek word "ψευδόχριστος" (pseudochristos), which signifies someone who pretends to be the true Messiah, often leading to deception.

What are the warnings of Jesus Christ to us so we will not be deceived?

Jesus warns us about the rise of false Christs and prophets who will perform great signs and wonders for the purpose of deception.

Matthew 24:23-26

23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

25 Behold, I have told you before.

26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

What will help us to identify false teachings and false doctrine?

Know the teachings and doctrine of Jesus Christ by spending time reading the King James Bible version, chapter by chapter and verse by verse. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you discern what is of God and what is of Satan.

Read Matthew 24, Mark 13, Luke 21, Ezekiel 28:18, Revelation chapters 12 and 13 and 20:10,14 and this website.

2 Timothy 3:13-17

13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;

15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Who can escape the Hour of Temptation?

Only those names that are written in the book of life.

Revelation 3:8

8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him (Satan), whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

Revelation 3:10

Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

Daniel 12:1

And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book of life.

Again: take heed that you are not deceived.

Know the sequence of events leading up to the seventh trumpet so you are not deceived by Satan. He is coming at the sixth trumpet as the spurious Messiah to all religions showing off his supernatural powers. The world will have been plunged into dire straits and will worship the fake messiah (Satan). He will promise peace and prosperity by saving the world from their miseries. The world will worship Satan with open arms because they will be deceived by his lies.

Satan knows his time is running out and he wants the world deceived and destroyed because he is already condemned to hell by God.

Luke 21:8

And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.

Remember no matter what happens in the world due to a time of trouble such as the world has never known, the deceiver (Satan as antichrist) is coming at the sixth trumpet to be worshipped in Jerusalem. His message is peace and prosperity. There is no rapture. Do Not Worship Satan (the antichrist) but WAIT for the true Jesus Christ at the seventh trumpet.

Words of Wisdom

John 16:33

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
